AI-Generated Personality
Master Project 2025
For her Master project, Kathy Kakiga explored the question of how designers can shape AI-generated identities while considering perceptions of authenticity and visual frameworks. As part of this research, Kathy developed the AI personality “Bina”, which was designed and implemented according to defined design criteria.
The prototype was brought to life on TikTok, where Bina communicates knowledge about artificial intelligence, ethics, and design in an accessible and engaging way. The aim of the project was to foster transparency, design responsibility, and critical thinking in how society interacts with AI-driven personas.
This project demonstrates Kathy’s expertise in generative design, human–AI interaction, ethical design practices, and digital storytelling, as well as her ability to translate complex research into innovative and practical communication formats.
