ABOUT
THE PROJECT.
AI Music Cover Workshop
As part of an InCollege Tutorium at HAWK Hildesheim, Kathy Kakiga planned and delivered a Workshop on the theme AI Music Cover.
During the workshop, she presented a session combining theoretical insights and practical exercises, teaching students how to use AI tools such as Adobe Firefly and Midjourney to design music covers.
As a follow-up assignment, students completed a vinyl cover and a tour poster at home and presented their results in the following week.
Kathy was responsible for the concept, planning, and implementation of the tutorium, including session design, guidance during the creative process, and evaluation of results.

AI Music Cover Exhibition
For the final exhibition, she developed a room plan and guided students in adapting their work into posters. Using a new hanging system, the posters were suspended from the ceiling, creating an engaging spatial experience that showcased all contributions equally.
The project combined practical design training, AI-driven creativity, and curatorial planning, providing students with both technical skills and critical perspectives on the role of AI in contemporary design practice.
